Bee stings stink.

Carson got a little lesson on how a bee will defend itself and its colony. Last night around 6 pm Carson got stung on the eye. I took a picture just a few minutes after it happened.

Then again this morning.

And again, just before bed tonight. Poor Carson!

(Here is a little video to show him moving his eye a bit. Gives a better idea of what it looks like. You'll noticed in his good eye that his pupils are still dilated from his eye exam this afternoon. No glasses for Carson!)

  1. Many stings take place during the spring and fall months. Reason being, bees and wasps are cold blooded insects and they linger around people in order to absorb the body heat of humans, therefore increasing the chances of getting stung.
